Mills & Mill Liners

Kenmore Group of Companies can supply new Ball mills and rod mills to your specific request. From 4’ diameter to 18’ diameter.

  • Mills come in different types, sizes, and configurations, and you should choose one that meets the specific needs of your operation. Some factors to consider include the type of material being processed, the required output size, the capacity of the mill, and the power source.
  • When it comes to mill liners, it’s important to make sure that they are of high quality and compatible with your specific mill model. Low-quality or incompatible liners can lead to equipment failure, decreased performance, and costly repairs.
  • Some of the common mill liners include rubber liners, metal liners, and composite liners. These liners are designed to protect the mill shell from wear and tear caused by grinding media and the material being processed.

These can be overflow or grate discharge, supplied with the following liners:

  • Manganese steel
  • Hi Chrome iron
  • Rubber
  • Chrome Moly

Kenmore offer a range of mills tailored to your needs. With the choice of Auto synchronous direct or gearbox driven pinions and a choice of white metal, slipper or roller bearings. We cater for your milling requirements understanding that every ore needs a mill suitable to the application.

Our Products

We can supply liners from existing drawings and design or as per request can design new liners to optimise wear life and improve grind.
We also assist the mine in planning replacement sets, to ensure stock is always on hand. As the saying goes “If the mills don’t turn, we don’t earn”, is of major importance to our company and our clients.

A lot of mining operations do not place a lot of interest in mill linings as they have used a product for years, have a historical life and assume that is the best they can get. However we can do design changes to the liners (at no extra cost) that can change the grind in the mill, increase throughput, and reduce wear points on the shell ends. In some instances we have achieved more than double the life of mill liners by altering the design or material used.

Kenmore also supply Trunnions liners, bolts, gearbox’s, girth gears and pinions as well as many other spares that are required for milling. These can be supplied to drawing and if no drawing is available, we have qualified draughtsman that can travel to site to measure up, produce working drawings and supply.
