An OEM, built
for African mining.

Founded in Gauteng in 2004, Kenmore Crushing Solutions has, over the past twenty years, grown into a comminution OEM serving operations across 15+ African countries — while remaining firmly grounded in the same principles and business model on which it was built.

/ THE MODEL

For most of the last century, mining equipment in Africa came from one of two places — OEMs whose pricing locked smaller operations out of capital projects, or low-cost suppliers whose engineering was either inconsistent or non-existent.

Kenmore was built to be the third option. We are the OEM. Capital equipment and wear profiles are designed and specified by our team in South Africa, sized to your ore and drawn to your plant. Standard-fit wear parts are sourced from manufacturing partners and reviewed against your application.

What we don't do, and what we are entirely transparent about, is operate our own foundry. Heavy-equipment manufacturing at scale in South Africa is no longer economically viable — for us, or for the mines who would absorb the cost. Instead, our designs are produced by long-term global manufacturing partners, working to our drawings, our specifications and our quality standards. It is a model capital equipment OEMs worldwide have adopted for the same reasons — the difference being that with Kenmore, the design and the accountability never leave South Africa.

/ CAPABILITY

Kenmore is structured around four in-house disciplines, each with full ownership of its part of the project lifecycle.

Engineering. Our comminution engineers handle equipment sizing, circuit design, materials selection and performance optimisation. Several have decades of plant experience before joining Kenmore.

Design & Drawing. Our draughtsman team produces full CAD drawings for every component we manufacture. Where drawings have been lost, we travel to site, measure up, and engineer from site.

Field Service. Our technicians install, commission and maintain. 24-hour breakdown response across the regions we operate in. Preventive maintenance programmes structured around your liner change cycles.

Project Management. Single point of accountability for everything from a one-off liner supply to a full greenfield circuit. Your PM runs the project from quote to handover.

THE TEAM

The people behind
every drawing.

Kenmore is built on a deliberately small, deeply experienced in-house team. Our engineers come from decades inside African mines and processing plants — they have run the equipment they now design. Our draughtsmen produce every working drawing under one roof in Gauteng, including travelling to site to engineer from site where original drawings have been lost. Our project managers and field service technicians live the projects from quote to commissioning to lifetime support. Every piece of work that leaves our facility is built by people who understand firsthand what it means to operate, maintain, and rely on the equipment in the field.
